You drive me up the wall! - Interpersonal Clearing
We all know what it feels like... We have that one person in our life that just seems to trigger emotion after emotion. That person literally drives us up the wall just simply when we are in their presence, yet it feels as though we cannot move away and we therefore remain stuck. There is help: Interpersonal Clearings
There are four main types of relationships: family, friends, (love) partner & business. Every relationship we have which goes beyond a mere acquaintance falls into one of these four categories. Over the course of our lifetime friends, partner & business relationships come and go. The one type of relationship that stays constant throughout our life is our family. (As a side note, our love relationship often becomes part of the family relationship)
When we focus on the family relationships in our lives, we will usually find that there is at least one person who has the ability to trigger deep emotions & feelings in us (in other words "drive us up the wall). The question that comes to mind is "Why is that so?". To truly understand family relationships (and their dynamics) we will need to look a bit further back than just this current life.
We travel in the same soul group over many, many lifetimes. A soul group is a group of souls that experiences many lifetimes together to learn specific life lessons, and to spiritually and emotionally grow. If you look at the practical side of this, it simply means that your current father may have been your sibling, child, mother, life partner, etc. in other lifetimes. As we travel through lifetimes with our soul groups our roles change, our life lessons change and therefore the set up of each lifetime we spend together is different. If you take this a step further it means that we have a long winded history with our closest family members, one that is anchored in previous lifetimes and experiences.
The question "Why does this person drive me up the wall?" remains. Part of the reason is the long winded past life history we have with our family members. Even though we may not physically remember past lives, they do have a ripple effect on us. Our bodies contain cell memories of past lives. These cell memories get activated when we have a specific trigger experience. Usually we are not physically aware that we are experiencing cell memories, yet we feel the effects such as strong emotions that cannot logically be explained, i.e. intense anger, pain, grief, frustration, feeling forlorn, etc.
Part of the cell memories are also vows, contracts & agreements we have made in other lifetimes. These are usually made in a moment of desperation. An example is an indebtedness vow. This is an interpersonal vow made between two people, usually when one person saves the others life. Vows & contracts (from other lifetimes) only truly get activated when there is a strong emotional response behind words. Let's take the example of someone saving your life in another lifetime. You are filled with relief and gratitude in that moment and may say "I am forever indebted to you". This statement is backed up by such a strong emotional response that it becomes a vow or contract which then follows you through lifetimes until it has either been fulfilled or cleared. Such a vow or contract can and will keep us in a holding pattern with a specific person. This can create a feeling of frustration, anger, exasperation, etc.
Often times a vow or contract is obsolete in this lifetime, and therefore is merely a remnant of other lifetimes. It is still in place because it never was cleared or removed. An Interpersonal Clearing will look at the relationship between two people and remove the vows & contracts that are out of date and no longer serve the highest good. Once the Clearing has been completed the dynamic of the relationship changes, the holding pattern is removed and the person can finally move forward.

Interesting, Ines!
This reminds alot of Ho'oponopono. Are you familiar with this practice? I wonder how you would describe them as similar or different.
Much appreciation,

Great job Ines! Is it possible that there are some people who just drive everybody crazy. To borrow a phrase from Eckhert Tolle, what if a person is a giant pain body and they rub everyone they meet the wrong way? Would an interpersonal clearing be effective in such a situation?

Interpersonal Clearings are between people who have a "history" together, while someone who is in their pain body can direct their pain at anyone and anything, including strangers, so an interpersonal Clearing may not be helpful. A regular, all around Clearing can be effective for a person in their pain body, as it will identify and clear the root or cause and empower the person to be grounded and in a good space. It is important to remember though that a Clearing can only be done if the afflicted person requests it.
